TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. A participant in the Capricorn Rewards Points Programme must have a current account number with Capricorn Society Limited.
2. New Authorised Purchasers (NAP) and existing members are eligible to earn and accrue points.
3. The Capricorn Reward Points Programme commenced 01 July, 1998 and is planned to continue indefinitely.
4. One Capricorn Reward Point will be issued for every Australian dollar; New Zealand dollar and/or Republic of South Africa rand(R1,00) of goods or services purchased from Capricorn Preferred Suppliers and included on your monthly account statement.
5.  Each participant in the Capricorn Reward Point Program will familiarise themselves with these terms and conditions and will be deemed to have read them.  Capricorn Society Limited will make every effort to advise members of any changes to the terms and condition or other circumstances relating to the program but shall not be liable for any failure to do so.  Capricorn Society Limited will not accept responsibility for any inaccuracies in the details herein.
6. Information and instructions on how to participate form part of these conditions.  Where the information and instructions are contrary to any of the terms and conditions herein, the terms and conditions shall have precedence.
7. Capricorn Society Limited expressly reserves the right to terminate or materially alter the operation or the benefits of the Capricorn Reward Point Program at any time, without notice.
8. In the event of any conflict or dispute, Capricorn Society Limited has the sole discretion to determine if a claim is valid and has the absolute discretion in determining such validity.
9. Capricorn Society Limited will not be responsible for or liable for any injury or damage, accident, loss delay or irregularity that may be caused to persons or property in connection with any goods or services purchased as part of the program rewards.
10. Liability for any taxation assessment on rewards in this program is the sole responsibility of the recipient, it is strongly recommended that the recipient(s) of rewards consult with a tax agent or accountant regarding any taxation liability, as individual circumstances differ.
11. Capricorn Society Limited expressly reserves the right in its absolute discretion to withdraw, cancel, withhold, deny access to, or use of, or in any way change any of the benefits previously advertised or offered generally or to any participant at any time except that previously notified points will be honoured by Capricorn Society Limited, and Capricorn Society Limited will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the participant resulting from such withdrawal, cancellation, variation or change. Any liability for errors in the information provided is also excluded.  The program is void to the extent that any part of it is prohibited or restricted by law.
12. Capricorn Society Limited may terminate the right of any person to participate further in Capricorn Reward Point Program, where, in Capricorn Society Limited’s opinion, such person has in any way breached or failed to observe any of these Program terms and conditions.
13. Capricorn Society Limited will compute each participant’s points earnings and report them in regular Statements.  Reward Points shown are an indication of your balance at a given date.  All Reward Points are subject to audit.
14. The standard manufacturers warranty will apply on all products purchased using *Myer Grace Bros; *Liquorland/Vintage Cellars; *Kmart; * Coles Supermarkets; *Target/Target Country; *Harvey Norman; *Farmers Stores Vouchers.  Capricorn Society Limited itself does not offer any warranty on any goods or services purchased with redeemed Reward Points.
15. Participants must complete the redemption form to redeem their reward points and receive their benefits.
16. 100 points is equivalent to one Australian dollar; New Zealand dollar and Republic of South Africa rand (R1,00).  A minimum redemption of 10,000 points (=$100 value) is required for all vouchers.  Any points which have not been redeemed will be carried forward and redeemed during the next redemption period.
17.  Redemption vouchers take a minimum if 28 days to process.  Please keep this timeframe in mind when lodging your redemption forms.
18.  Participants in the Capricorn Reward Points Program can redeem Capricorn Reward Points for store vouchers, use them online at 'Rewards On The Web', for Travel from Capricorn Travel Limited.
19. Any Capricorn Society Limited account must be paid up and not on stop credit or overdue. Accrued Capricorn Reward Points cannot be utilised or applied towards payment of an overdue member’s account.

0. If a participant in the Capricorn Reward Points Program ceases to be a member of Capricorn Society Limited for any reason whatsoever, any accrued Capricorn Reward Points will be frozen until all monies owing to Capricorn Society Limited on the terminating member’s account have been paid in full. On full settlement of the participant’s outstanding account with Capricorn Society Limited, the departing member’s accrued Capricorn Reward Points will be converted to cash at the rate of one dollar for every complete 100 Capricorn reward points held which shall be paid to the departing member less any monies due to Capricorn Society Limited.
21. For the purposes of this program, 100 Australian reward points is worth one Australian dollar; 100 New Zealand reward points is worth one New Zealand dollar; 100 Republic of South Africa reward points is worth one Republic of South Africa rand (R1,00). Rewards are not transferable between countries.
22. The total rewards points value redeemed cannot exceed your current rewards points available.
