    Is travel insurance included in the price?

    • No, travel insurance is not included and should be organised separately to best fit your circumstances. 
  •  

    Why are children under 8 years old not able to attend?

    • Insurance at Club Med Cefalù-Sicily does not provide coverage for children under 8 years old.  
  •  

    Is there a payment plan available?

    • Yes, a payment plan is available that allows the Convention package and the Capricorn extension package to be paid over 8 instalments after receiving a deposit of AU$550/NZ$605 per person or AU$600/NZ$650 per person (depending on room type). Anything additional (e.g. tours, Capricorn Travel organised flights) will not be included in the payment plan.

    When will I be invoiced for the 2026 Convention?

    • Your deposit amount will be charged in the same month as ticket purchase based on the chosen Convention package. If you choose to go ahead with the payment plan, the 8 instalments will be due on the following dates: 30 June 2025, 31 July 2025, 31 August 2025, 30 September 2025, 31 October 2025, 30 November 2025, 31 December 2025, 31 January 2026.

    Will I receive a refund if I have to cancel?

    • If your notice of cancellation is received on or later than 31 January 2026 and up to 4 April 2026 and we are able to resell your Convention registration a cancellation fee equal to the deposit will be charged, this amount being a genuine pre-estimate of our losses. Any time after 4 April 2026, the Convention package will become non-refundable. We will not be to refund any monies paid for the 2026 Capricorn Convention. This amount is a genuine pre-estimate of our losses based on the non-refundable payments submitted to venues and services providers used for Convention in connection with your registration.

    What visa do I require to travel?

    • At this stage, there are no requirements for an entry visa to Italy for Australian or New Zealand passport holders. Should these requirements change Capricorn will notify all registered attendees. Any visa requirements will need to be organised by the registered attendees themselves as Capricorn will not be able to do this. For other passport holders, please visit vistoperitalia.esteri.it

    How long does my passport need to be valid for travel?

    • Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date from travel.

    Will children under the age of 18 years old be able to attend the Gala Dinner?

    • Yes, children under the age of 18 years old will be able to attend the Gala Dinner.

    How much is the package to attend the Convention by myself?

    • If you are attending the Convention solo, your single supplement package costs are as follows:
      • Terrace View: AU$9,100 / NZ$10,350
      • Garden Deluxe View: AU$10,500 / NZ$11,908
      • Ocean View: AU$11,600 / NZ$13,132
      • Suite:  AU$13,600 / NZ$15,356

    How much are children’s tickets?

    • Children's tickets are priced the same as adult tickets. If you are bringing one child, the cost will be equivalent to a single supplement package price. For example, AU$9,100 / NZ$10,350 for a Terrace View.

    Can I add a rollaway bed to my existing room?

    • Unfortunately, rollaway beds are not available at Club Med Cefalù.

    Can I attend the 2026 Capricorn Convention without staying at Club Med Cefalù?

    • No, you must stay at Club Med Cefalù to attend the 2026 Capricorn Convention.
