Easily accessible through myCAP, our growing list of Ecommerce Partners offers you the opportunity to further streamline your admin and reduce the time you spend ordering over the phone.

How to get started

It couldn’t be easier to start enjoying the convenience. Just log in to myCAP, check out the Ecommerce Partners page to explore your options and click through to their online stores.

From there, just shop using your selected Ecommerce Partner’s website and when you’re ready to pay, select the Check out with Capricorn button. This way, the invoice will go straight to your Trade Account and your order will be headed your way!

  • What is ecommerce?
    Put simply, ecommerce (electronic commerce) is the buying and selling of goods and services, or the transmitting of funds or data, using the internet.
  • What is an Ecommerce Partner?
    An Ecommerce Partner is a Preferred Supplier who has ecommerce capability and has undertaken a specific process to integrate their site with Capricorn, to allow Members to charge their Trade Account for their purchases made online.
  • How can I purchase from Ecommerce Partners?
    Members can access Ecommerce Partner websites through myCAP via the Ecommerce tab or via the Ecommerce Partner banner at the bottom of the Purple Pages section in myCAP.
  • I’m based in New Zealand; can I purchase from an Ecommerce Partner in Australia?
    A purchase can only be made within the same country as the Member’s location. If you are in New Zealand, you can only purchase through New Zealand’s Ecommerce Partners and if you are in Australia, you can only purchase through Australia’s Ecommerce Partners.
  • What if I’m on stop credit?
    You will be able to browse but will be unable to successfully complete the purchase.
  • What if my purchase is above my transaction limit?
    If your purchase exceeds your available credit limit, the transaction will not be successful.
  • Do I need to create an account when ordering online with an Ecommerce Partner?

    Capricorn’s ecommerce payment technology allows you to skip the sign-up/sign-in process or the need to create separate accounts with most Preferred Suppliers when you access the Preferred Supplier’s ecommerce website through myCAP.

    NOTE: JB Hi-Fi Business is only available in Australia and currently requires Members to create an account and wait 2-24 hours for it to be verified. Once this process is completed. Members will receive a confirmation email from JB Hi-Fi and will then be able to access JB Hi-Fi Business’ online store via myCAP and use the ‘Check out with Capricorn’ button to pay for purchases using their Trade Account.
