Already regarded as a skilled technician, Isaac constantly seeks to improve his skills and is certified to work on Teslas and high-voltage electric vehicles (EV); a rare feat for an apprentice. Isaac’s boss says his commitment to safety and professionalism is “outstanding”.

So, it’s no surprise Isaac picked up the Capricorn Rising Stars Region Winner Award for SA/NT. This award recognises apprentices who go above and beyond, have a great attitude and show initiative in the workshop.

Isaac’s interest in cars began with racing go-karts in school, sparking his love for vehicles and the automotive industry. Now impressing the team at Eblen Collision Repairs, he is passionate about working on structural repairs, making vehicles safe and functional while developing skills in specialised Tesla training and collision repairs training.

Isaac continues to exceed expectations in his role, only confirming the validity of his Rising Star Award win.

Isaac mentors and offers guidance and support to new team members and apprentices. He shares his expertise in high-voltage vehicle repairs and safe procedures, ensuring that others benefit from his vast knowledge. With his additional training in EVs, Isaac goes above and beyond to improve team performance and strengthen his workshops overall capability.

Isaac is dedicated to continuous improvement, attending industry-specific courses to stay on top of evolving standards and best practices.

Looking ahead, Isaac envisions stepping into a management role or running his own business, committed to learning all aspects of business operations while excelling in his apprenticeship.

Isaac is hugely appreciative to Capricorn, Castrol, Repco and The Workshop Whisperer for recognising apprentices who care deeply about their craft and community.
