This early rebate means Members will receive a portion of their Trade Rebate sooner, returned as Capricorn Rewards Points based on their Trade Account spend over the past nine months.
How does the interim Trade Rebate work?

Automatic and easy: There’s nothing you need to do. Capricorn will automatically calculate your rebate based on your eligible Trade Account spend.

Proportional to your spend: Your rebate is based on how much you’ve spent using your Capricorn Trade Account between 1 July and 31 March.

Paid as Rewards Points: Your rebate is paid out as additional Rewards Points, which you’ll see on your Capricorn Trade Account May statement (issued in June).

Flexible to use when it suits you: There’s no pressure to use your Rewards Points straight away - you can redeem them when it works best for you and your business.
How can you use your interim Trade Rebate Rewards Points?
Your Rewards Points are designed to be flexible, so you can choose what’s most valuable to you:
- Invest back into your business: Redeem points for tools, workshop equipment or office supplies.
- Pay off your Trade Account: Use Rewards Points to pay your Trade Account.

Common questions about the Interim Trade Rebate
Q: Do I need to apply for the Interim Trade Rebate?
A: No. If you’re a Capricorn Member and you actively use your Trade Account, you’re automatically eligible.
Q: How is my rebate calculated?
A: It’s based on your eligible spend through your Trade Account between 1 July and 31 March.
Q: Where do I find my Rewards Points?
A: Your points appear on your Trade Account May statement (issued in June) . You can also check your balance anytime through myCAP.
Q: Do my Points expire?
A: Points don’t expire, so you can use them when it suits you.
Q: Does redeeming Points reduce my rebate next year?
A: No. Redeeming your Points does not affect your future rebates. Your rebate is based on your spend, not your redemptions.
Q: Will there be another Trade Rebate this financial year?
A: This interim Trade Rebate relates specifically to this period. Any decision regarding a Trade Rebate for the remainder of the 2025/26 financial year will be made following year-end results and remains at the discretion of the Capricorn Board.
