Capricorn has announced an interim trade rebate of up to $15.7 million, to be issued to eligible Members as Capricorn Rewards Points, as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting Members in times of need.

The interim rebate has been made in recognition of the pressures many small businesses have been experiencing across the automotive sector over the last few months. It reflects Capricorn’s commitment to providing practical support where it can and when it matters.

The rebate will be allocated to eligible Member accounts in proportion to purchases made through Capricorn for the period 1 July 2025 to 31 March 2026.

Capricorn Group CEO Brad Gannon said the decision was guided by Capricorn’s cooperative values and its responsibility to support Members through all stages of the business lifecycle.

“We know many of our Members and Preferred Supplier partners are operating in a tough environment, managing rising costs and ongoing uncertainty,” Brad said.

“As a cooperative, we’re here to support our Members and Preferred Supplier partners. This interim trade rebate is one meaningful way we can help ease pressure and return value directly to our Members and help our broader Community.”

“Our focus has always been on doing what’s right for Members. Our Trade Rebates are a way we reward our Members for being part of our Community, and by issuing it now, we hope to provide some cost-of-living relief when they need it most”.

Key details of the interim trade rebate include:

  • Up to $15.7 million to be returned to eligible Capricorn Members
  • Delivered as Capricorn Rewards Points
  • Allocated in proportion to Members’ trade purchases through Capricorn
  • Covering the period 1 July 2025 to 31 March 2026
