Capricorn Member Directors are elected by Members to help shape the future of the cooperative and influence the decisions that matter. Each year, eligible Members are invited to nominate, vote and have their say in who represents their zone at Board level.
As a Member‑owned cooperative, Capricorn’s success depends on strong leadership and diverse perspectives from across our membership.
Director Elections give Capricorn Members the opportunity to help shape the future of the cooperative by electing Directors to the Board.
Member Directors play an important role in:
Providing strategic oversight
Representing the interests of Members
Supporting Capricorn’s long‑term sustainability and success
Director Elections are held in selected zones each year, depending on which Member Director positions are due for election. Each year, only Members in the relevant zones are eligible to nominate and vote.
If you’re a Capricorn shareholder in the Queensland or Western Australian zones, you’re eligible to vote for a Member Director to represent your zone on the Capricorn Board.
