If you’re a Capricorn Shareholder in the New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory or Victoria/Tasmania zones, you’re eligible to vote for a Member Director to represent your region on the Capricorn Board. Each elected Member Director will serve a four-year term, contributing to Capricorn’s strategic direction and supporting our shared success.

Rhys has been a Capricorn Member since 2016 and owns Col Voss Automatic Transmissions in Brookvale, NSW.
Rhys is passionate about the automotive industry. His goal is to collaboratively navigate current and future challenges, foster innovation, and contribute meaningfully to the continued growth and resilience of our industry.
He began his automotive career as an apprentice in 1998 and later founded Furious Performance, a family-run parts business. He has held leadership roles in Business Network International (BNI) and served as Treasurer for a local motorcycle club, gaining experience in financial governance and strategic planning.
Lydia has been a Capricorn Member since 2011 and was elected to the Capricorn Board in 2021 and owns Barr Automotive in Hornsby, NSW.
A second-generation automotive business owner, Lydia grew up in her family’s auto electrical workshop. She holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Management) from the University of Western Sydney and an Advanced Diploma in Business (Marketing) from Macleay College. She has been immersed in the automotive sector in one way or another her entire life.
She is Chair of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee and a member of the Digital and Transformation Committee. Lydia has previously served on the Audit and Risk Committee and the Capricorn Relationship Committee (CRC) and is also a Director of Capricorn Mutual Ltd.
Marcus has been a Capricorn Member since 2000 and began his automotive career in 1990 as an apprentice at Beazley & Bruce Holden. He later worked at Gerard Slaven Holden before opening Gentech Automotive & Performance in 2000.
His goal is to support small business growth and share what he’s learned through decades of hands-on experience, leadership, and continuous learning in the automotive industry.
He holds a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanics, is a member of IAME and AAAA, and completed the AICD Course in 2012. Marcus served on the Parramatta Eels Member Council (2016–2019) and is currently part of their Supporter Group Alliance.
Paul has worked in the automotive industry for over 40 years, starting as an apprentice motor trimmer before becoming Managing Director of Motorcraft Motor Trimmers in 2000.
His goal is to share his experience and passion for the industry as well as lobby for better regulation, youth engagement, and stronger business networks across the automotive sector.
He holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and is a qualified tradesman in automotive and marine trimming. Paul has served as President of the Slovenian Association Melbourne and held committee roles with local community groups. He also spent a year teaching at Holmesglen Institute.
Anthony co-owns Shaw Performance Automotive & 4x4 in Tasmania and has been in business since 2009.
His goal is to help members modernise their businesses, embrace new technologies, and strengthen collaboration across the automotive industry. Anthony also wants to shift the public perception of mechanics and push people to work together for the betterment of the industry.
He holds a Certificate III in Business Administration and manages the business alongside his twin brother, who is a qualified mechanic. Anthony has served as President and Committee Member of the 500 Car Club of Tasmania, gaining experience in event coordination and leadership. His background also includes roles in contract administration, sales, and training.
