Capricorn is looking for energetic and passionate members to join our board of directors. This year we will have vacancies in WA and QLD.
Capricorn is a member-based organisation and Member representation on the board helps ensure Members’ interests are safeguarded. Member Directors use their skills, knowledge and expertise in the industry to help ensure Capricorn is delivering for Members, reflecting Members’ interests and living up to Capricorn’s promises and values.
To give Capricorn Members an insight into the life of a Capricorn Director, Capricorn is hosting a virtual introduction session on Tuesday 5 April 2022 at 9am AWST/11am AEST. We will be sitting down with current Member Directors Mark Cooper and Lydia Stjepanovic to discuss how they became a director, and how they have found the experience. Mark is the current Capricorn board chair who became a director in 2013, and Lydia has just joined the board in October 2021.
The 30-minute session is relevant for Members in all zones, including Members who may be interested in becoming a director this year or in the next few years.
